What a pair of pumpkins …

I won’t win prizes for my carving skills (mine’s the one on the left). Its supposed to be a spooky tree by moonlight, but it has more of ‘horrid face gone wrong’ about it. At least the innards, dutifully cut, scooped and scraped out have served their purpose and have been transformed by @drwster into pumpkin soup and pumpkin bread. This was the prime reason pumpkins were bought … to turn them into delicious food. And they certainly were not bought so two grown men could carve shapes into them.
