drwster and I wandered down to Southsea beach. The summer is still in full flow and the seafront was full of people doing the same thing. We joked about getting a table at the new Southsea Beach Cafe and, on the off chance, asked them – however, they had a the usual long wait so we headed off towards the Eastney end of the beach. Grabbing a couple of coffees from The Coffee Cup van (the new build is coming along nicely) we sat on the beach at the tideline. drwster went for a paddle and I joined him; refreshingly cold water on hot feet.
