Summer Evenings with dog-gate

I dove into my iTunes library a little deeper than usual, trying to find some music to match these wonderfully hot summer days. I hit upon this old DJ mix of mine from back in 2002. I was regularly DJ’ing at The Citrus Cafe in Albert Road, tucked away in the corner standing in the street-level front windows. On hot evenings these would open wide so my decks were nearly on the pavement and the bar would fill with the transient early evening trade, not yet drunk but getting there, warming up their evening. I would usually be in a world of my own playing the music. The best evenings were when friends would drop in to have a drink and a chat. On one particular evening we managed to get the whole bar, the street outside and the traffic dancing.
