Evening with wonderful friend and adventurous food

Lovely evening tonight, an American supper I believe is the term. First meal in awhile that all four of us were together, as Di had summered in India. We each brought a course along and eggs appeared to be the common theme of the night.

I tried a recipe I had clipped from Waitrose several months ago. I’d been waiting for the appropriate time to try it. ‘Parmesan Custard with Anchovy toast’ a recipe that looks wonderful and tasted just as good. In fact I would be tempted to try the toast on it’s own at the next buffet we do.
