Cot Valley, Cornwall

When we go to Cornwall, we invariably pay a visit to Cot Valley. Its down a narrow lane that curves down the folding fields outside St Just and dives between the high hedges to follow the small valley to the sea. Huge gunnera and young trees scrape the side of the van, eventually giving way to bracken. Along the side of the lane runs our favourite stream, running along the valley bottom and then spreading itself underneath the large, round stone that mark the beach, eventually meeting the incoming waves.
